Our New VP of Operations is Cooler Than Yours!

We’ve teased this on facebook a few weeks back, now is the time to make this big news an official announcement. I’m super excited to share that Ashley Segura (Ward), has joined TopHatRank as our VP of Operations.

About Ashley

To the few of you who don’t know who she is, Ashley is an international keynote speaker and former digital marketing agency owner. She has worked extensively both in-house and with multiple agencies helping clients grow their businesses online.

Speaking both internationally and throughout the US, Ashley regularly teaches digital marketing workshops and speaks at industry conferences like Pubcon, BrightonSEO, SearchLove, Digital Summit, Retail Global, and the prestigious SMS Sydney.

Ashley has also co-authored the best-selling book “The Better Business Book V.2” and is a contributing writer to industry blogs such as Search Engine Journal and AuthorityLabs.

With over 7 years of experience in the digital marketing industry and a journalism/PR background, Ashley brings tons of experience to the TopHatRank team.

Why would she do this?

Ashley and I have been friends for a few years now, spoken/presented at a lot of digital marketing conferences together around the world, have helped and consulted each other many times through a few struggles of running our agencies, and referred business to each other.

Through all of this, we’ve found that we work very well together, share the same values, and have very similar professional growth goals. At the same time, we both struggled with certain aspects of running our own individual agencies so combining forces seemed like the most logical thing to do.

What is she working on?

Ashley’s primary objectives have been to help sustain TopHatRank’s rapid growth as an SEO agency and she has been absolutely killing it.

In the few short months that she’s been at the helm, we have hired three new team members, created and refined our standard operating procedures, and reworked the organizational structure of our SEO team making us more efficient and greatly improving our already amazing client retention rate.

As a secondary focus, Ashley is working on developing and launching two additional products (brands) that will help expand TopHatRank’s service offering beyond SEO. Currently these are top-secret and will be announced soon, but for now, we’re not telling.

Is she still going to be speaking at conferences?

Heck yes she is! We have very aggressive growth goals that require us to continue making appearances at some of the biggest industry conferences, plus she LOVES to share her knowledge. So yes, Ashley will continue to travel and share digital marketing expertise around the globe.
